Desired Skills:

  • More than 7 years’ experience in US accounting (preferably in small & mid-size businesses) 
  • Sound knowledge of US GAAP & Compliances 
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience of leading team of 6 -10 members. 
  • Excellent communication – written & verbal 
  • Potential to take more responsibility than the regular job.  

Job Description

  • Lead and supervise a team of transaction categorization specialists.   
  • Oversee daily operations to ensure timely and accurate categorization of transactions.  
  • Act as an escalation point for complex or unclear transaction cases. 
  • Monitor and report on team performance metrics, quality standards, and SLA adherence.  
  • Provide coaching, training, and development opportunities to team members.  
  • Collaborate with AI/ML and product teams to improve categorization workflows and AI feedback loops.  
  • Drive continuous process improvement and enforce documentation best practices.  
  • Manage resource allocation and workload balancing within the team. 

Qualification

  • B. Com, M.com, Inter CA, CA, CPA, ACCA 

Language Proficiency (If Any):

  • English  

Required Certifications (If Any):

  • No mandatory 

Computer Proficiency & specifications:

  • Familiar with the Quick Book online accounting software 
  • Well versed with the different communication applications & work flow portals  
  • Proficient in excel
