Desired Skills:

Job Description
- Review the complete bookkeeping process for UK-based clients, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries and reconciliations as per UK GAAP and client-specific procedures/SOPs.
- Review bank reconciliations and payroll journals and finalize the monthly financial statements, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
- Review VAT returns and ensure compliance with UK tax regulations, including necessary adjustments or updates.
- Act as the primary point of contact for client queries, providing guidance and addressing complex financial concerns.
- Provide regular updates to clients and senior management regarding financial activities and status.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements, automation, and optimization in bookkeeping operations.
- Prepare and review financial forecasts and budgets and provide detailed financial analysis and strategic recommendations based on financial data.
- Support for preparing MIS reports, providing detailed insights into financial performance, trends, and key metrics to support decision-making and strategic planning.
Qualification
- B.com, M.com or Equivalent Qualification
- 4 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting roles.
- Professional certification (e.g., CA, ACCA) is a plus but not mandatory.
Language Proficiency (If Any):
- Well conversant in verbal and written English communication
Computer Proficiency & specifications:
- Proficiency in UK-based accounting Software (Xero, QuickBooks, Hubdoc, and Dext)
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Teams, Word, etc).
