Desired Skills:
• We are seeking a Senior Tax Accountant with minimum 3 years of hands-on experience preparing U.S. Individual income tax returns
(Form 1040, 1040-NR, and 1040-SR). The individual will ensure that all tax documents are accurate, complete, and compliant with
federal, state, and local tax laws. This role requires extensive experience with individual tax forms and a deep understanding of
individual tax regulation.
Job Description:
• Prepare and analyze U.S. individual income tax returns, including Forms 1040, 1040-NR, and 1040-SR, for CPA firm clients, ensuring
accuracy, completeness, and compliance with federal and applicable state tax regulations.
• Act as a preparer and quality-control extension of U.S.-based CPA firms, adhering to firm-specific review checklists, documentation
standards, and engagement protocols.
• Identify, document, and resolve discrepancies in tax returns and supporting workpapers in coordination with U.S. CPA firm reviewers
and managers.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in U.S. individual tax return preparation, with a primary focus on Form 1040, 1040-NR, and 1040
SR.
• Proficiency in tax software (e.g., Pro-connect, ProSystem, Lacerte, UltraTax, Intuit software(s), CCH, Drake) and other relevant tools.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective coordination with U.S.-based CPA partners, managers, and reviewers.
• Ability to manage strict deadlines, and perform under peak-season pressure.
Qualification:
• M.B.A in Accounting and Finance, Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field.
Language Proficiency (If Any):
• Strong proficiency in written and verbal English communication.
Required Certifications (If Any):
• Enrolled Agent (added advantage)
• C.P.A (added advantage)
Computer Proficiency G specifications:
• Sound knowledge of MS Office, mainly MS Excel and Outlook
